A view of across the Dart Estuary to Kingswear, Devon, from Dartmouth. On the left is the landing pontoon for the passenger ferry, with the slipway for the Lower Vehicle Ferry just to the right of the former Ferry Hotel. Further to the right is the Royal Dart Yacht Club, and above them all the varied houses of Kingswear clamber up the steep hillside. For an August Sunday there are very few pleasure craft on the move.
