In order to fly here, I not only had to register the drone, but I also had to obtain a permit from the aviation office for this time and place. I made a few rounds over the Indian Ocean before trying to fly a circle over the beach. In the process, the aircraft got stuck in the crown of a mangrove, about 7 metres high. Too high to reach with my aluminium ladder. I then asked Veronica from the nearby Five Resort. She gave me two clever Sri Lankan boys. One of them climbed up the mangrove and easily retrieved my drone! Lucky me!
