L’église Saint-Pierre, construite en grès rouge aux 11ème et 12ème siècles, a été agrandie et fortifiée à la fin du Moyen Âge. Elle se distingue par son clocher roman à gâbles. Cette structure rare et particulièrement élaborée, représente le type le plus archaïque du clocher limousin. Il s'agit d'un clocher-tour à plusieurs étages, passant d’une base carrée à un sommet octogonal par le moyen de gâbles (pignons aigus). L'édifice a été classé au titre des monuments historique en 1905.
The church of Saint-Pierre, built in red sandstone in the 11th and 12th centuries, was enlarged and fortified at the end of the Middle Ages. It is distinguished by its Romanesque tower with gâbles. This rare and particularly elaborate structure represents the most archaic type of the Limousin bell tower. It is a bell tower with several floors, going from a square base to an octagonal top by means of gâbles (acute gables). The building was classified as a French National historical monument in 1905.
