The sun is just rising to warm the granite mountain above Lake George. Crystal Crag, a rock climber destination, is the first to catch the light. The haze above the water is called ice fog and happens when the warmer water vaper meets the frigid air. It forms tiny ice crystals which hang over the lake. Note that the water is so clear you can see rocks on the bottom.
