Tangalle is a small town in the south of Sri Lanka. West of Tangalle is more sedate, with the two luxury first-class hotels Amanwella and Ananthara. East of Tangalle is Tangalle Beach, which has been developed by backpackers for several years. Accordingly, the beach there is a very lively party mile with many young people spread out among the numerous beach restaurants. I took the picture on this beach.
