Port Dover, Ontario
Situated on Lake Erie, Port Dover remains one of the home ports for the commercial fishery. It also has a wonderful beach which our kids used to enjoy and is far enough off the beaten path that all of the businesses which serviced the summer crowd were locally owned and operated
A boat heading out while locals on the pier pursue their most favoured leisure activity; fishing.
An interesting fact is that while Lake Erie holds only 2% of the water in the Great Lakes it is home to 50% of the fish.
