The golden light was on and the few birds that were around were active. This Cisticola was looking for food amidst the competition of Bee-Eaters, Drongoes, Stonechats, Baya weavers and few types of Prinia's. Being a slow flyer, it was at a clear disadvantage, but the lake area was pretty vast and hence lots of opportunities. The bird sat on the perch for a short while before taking off to find the small insects that escape the bigger birds.
