Fascinant de voir comment ces petits harles procèdent pour arriver à leur "faim" avec ces crustacés. Une fois pêché le pauvre se fait démembrer par des secouements répétés. Une fois toutes pattes arrachées, le harle avale l'écrevisse comme on peut le voir ici. La taille de celle-ci est impressionante.
Un très grand merci à Sylvain Messier de m'avoir généreusement prété ce cailloux afin de le mettre à l'épreuve sur le terrain.
Interesting how these hoodies consume crawfish. After having fished it out from the bottom, they proceed to rip off the paws by shaking them loose. Once all the paws are gone they carefully swallow the fish tail first. Amazed at the size of this one.
