Today is a sad day for all comicbook fans, DC and Marvel. People seem to forget how important the 1966 Batman TV show was to pop culture and the impactful it was to the future of superheroes on the big and small screen. Now I'm not going to lie to you guys and say that West's Batman was my all time favorite Batman, but his performance does hold a special place in my heart on how Batman used to be.
There is a time to mourn, but there is also a time to celebrate, so today let's all take a moment to honor this great man for what he's done for this character, let me know some of your favorite Adam West moments in the comments below! Mine has to me the famous bomb scene in the Batman movie, it's just classic and it still makes me laugh this day!
Rest in peace, Adam. You'll never be forgotten.
