My daughter (age 24) loves to read aloud to me, and baking gives me something to do while listening. I've only tackled baking a Yule Log once before, but it was well worth the effort this year, both for the photo opportunity and for the taste. Ideally, one also creates edible decorations like meringue mushrooms and frosting holly, but this year, we settled for natural decorations - removed before eating, of course!
