Iceland would be better named as waterfall land or rain land. There are thousands of wonderful waterfalls called foss and they all run year round though there are a few that freeze solid in the north. This one at Kirkjufell is usually seen with the mountain rising to the west. If you go it is an easy hiking with parking nearby.
