This house sits near Squish studio in Tilting, Fogo Island. It's a beautiful building, but one of the reasons it stands out is because of its setting. It's a reminder that architecture takes advantage of natural surroundings: the landscape and traditions around it.
This is one of the large-format pictures I've got on show at the Roastery, 401 Richmond West, (near Spadina) in Toronto, until June 27. I'm there Sat May 14 from 11am - 3pm if you feel like popping in to say hi (coffee's on me).
